The result included the burning of a cross on the dormitory grounds late last Monday evening. Invited to the Briquett-A-Go-Go were the giggling coeds of Wasatch Hall, who peeked shyly out of their windows, the campus police, the Ogden City Fire Dept., and "the Animals" straight Zoo. After some deliberation, it was decided that the burning of the 15 foot cross was not a racial demonstration, since both bovs and girls were involved. Instead, the pace-setters simply retreated into the dorms, after a moist greeting from the fire department who decided it was a poor way to rid the campus of crab grass.
