Neville Peterman, Jeff Stonebraker, Gaylen Cardwell, Tony Arogon; second row I to r. Coach Marv Peterson, Dale Stagg, Kent Larson, Doyle Shaw and Herman Chee. The team defeated Utah State twice, Montana State once and finished second to the University of Montana in the Utah AAU meett in Salt Lake City. Games On Air Weber State's basketball games will again be carried this year over KLO Radio. All varsity games begin at 8 p.m., with Don Spainhower calling theplay-by-play. Student Tickets Available for Hoop Tournament Weber State students, faculty and staff will receive special rates for the Golden Spike basketball tournament Dec. 29-30 in Wildcat Gym. Two special sections have been reserved for Weber Staters at a very low price. The four game tournament will cost only $2 if it is purchased as the tournament ticket. If one buys only single night tickets, it will cost $1.50 per night. Basketball entertainment during the holidays is available at this low price for Weber State students, faculty and staff with an identification and student body card. All seats are reserved for this Golden Spike Tournament on Dec. 29-30 in the Wildcat Gym. President William P. Miller, Reed K. Swenson, athletic director, and Milton C. Mecham, faculty representative, attended the meetings. No applications for admittance to the league were presented at the meeting, officials reported. Commissioner JackFriel's term as commissioner was continued by the college presidents. The presidents congratulated Montana State on winning the football championship and for being invited to attend the Camellia Bowl Dec. 10 in Sacramento, California. A resolution making it necessary for incoming junior college transfers to have a 2.0 or 6 grade point average to be eligible for competition was also passed.
