Show Address to Women. A well known preacher, in an address, ad-dress, to young women, last Sunday said; "Marry if you will but remember remem-ber that some of the noblest women on earth never wore the wedding ring. Beware of the gambler! Beware of the loafer! He ware of the slick buzzards buz-zards whose only character is on their backs! who look at a girl as a buzzard looks at a dove. Beware of the scoffer. Never marry a man to reform him. It never works. If he will not reform for his sweetheart, he will not for his wife. Don't be afraid to marry a poor man, but let him have something besides be-sides his poverty to recommend him." |
