Our fruit crop has turned out much better than was expected earlier in the season, sea-son, especially in sheltered localities, so that we may look for a good showing in that direction. Live stock are in much better condition than was expected, ex-pected, and other things are looking favorable. The committee on grounds and buildings build-ings were a little too slow in getting to work-, but they have now started in dead earnest and will doubtless have everything o. K. All that is now necessary to assure the success of the fair is the hearty co-operation of every man and woman of Rixie. The Premium List shows-above shows-above i?l. 200.00 in prizes, over one-half ot which sum is m cash. With such inducements, the people ought to strive for the fair's success to the utmost, by bringing in their products for exhibit, and by their presence.
