Show LEEDS. Bp. B. Y. McMullin has gone to Milford on business. The cjanco given on Washington's birthday was a success. Chas. A. Workman, Co. fcjupt. of Schools, was visiting- tho schools here Tuesday. The weather continues very dry and windy, so far we have had no rain or snow to amount to anything. Daniel IX I,IcArthur. and David II, Cannon, of the Stake Presidency, held meeting here Friday evening, the 23rd. Leeds was visited by the Toquerville Dramatic- Co. last Saturday night. They presented ".The Serf," vrhich was rendered creditably. The Misses Minnie Hanson and Maud Harris, also Messrs. Lue and Coleman Harris, who are attending school at Cedar City, were home to celebrate Washington's birthday. |
