Show tiUXI.OCK. Last night frost did much damage to our fruit and gardens. Fruit blossoms were frozen at Panaca on the night of April 2-lth. Zera P. Terry and wife have just returned re-turned from a visit to Enterprise and Panaca. At the Biglow farm, six miles north of this place, the fruit crop was killed on the 24th ult. May day was celebrated by the people peo-ple here, who were pleased to see a nice rain storm. Although a cold and stormy week at Enterprise, new settlers are arriving. The people are encouraged and talk of raising good corn crops without irrigation. ir-rigation. At Terry's ranch, shortly after midnight mid-night on April 22nd. the little child of Thomas S. Terry, Jr., and wife died, and was buried the next day in a pretty graveyard selected near their home. On Friday, April 2L-t, Amos Hunt and wife were called upon to part with their second child, Leslie Marion. Their first child, Mary Estelle. alsodied when a few days old on January 30, |
