Show Fred Beebe has accepted the position of baggage-master in a company that starts Thursday to Antelope Springs to gather horses. The Haiton Bros, have gone to Lower Kolob in quest of staves preparatory to supplying what is likely to be an un-usual'demand un-usual'demand for barrels next fall. A baby-girl recently came to the home of Sister Maggio Wright. The father is at present in Ohio preaching the gospel of Christ, and will be pleased pleas-ed to learn of another addition to the fold. Jos. Haslam came home on a short visit last week, bringing with him his sister, Mrs. E. A. Spenillove, of Cedar City. Having been started some six or seven years ago, most of the distance has become pretty well settled, and the fact that storms have tilled it with from two to three feet of water and the water has remained until all carried away by evaporation, is proof conclusive of the superiority of the soil thru which the ditch is made.
