Show DIM S AT ilni pine arizona june 20 W D I uller died at his home here on june 13 1920 alter suffering a year and a halt of cancer he ia survived by three children frana C of provo utah and alfred ot strawberry ariz and mra annabel leonard ot willetts cal 16 grandchildren and one great granddaughter mr fuller was born in ln dham N Y nov 10 1835 came to utah in the tall ot 1847 with his fathers family in the Perri green sessions company when a young man he engaged in the freighting business hauling freight into salt lake from the missouri river from butte mont and from los angele cal he was called to dixie to assist in the settlement of that section about 1860 before answering the call he married ann campkin of salt lake they moved to harrisburg where they spent the first year living in a large wagon box he was called to fill a mission in the comp iny of george A smith and orson hyde to dedicate the land of palestine but upon reaching new york the entire company were unable to proceed on account of lack of finances he placed at the disposal of the mission president several hundred dollars and with six others le turned to salt lake he acted as bishop 0 harrisburg ward tor a number ot years when he in company with several other dixie residents was called to settle the tonto basin country in central arizona at his time sept 11 1878 he was suddenly bereft of his wife and was left with alx small children however in 1880 be moved into pine and has resided here ever since his funeral was held in the pine ward house june 15 deseret news |
