Show five esther minerva murray died june 8 ashael james barrum mrs may leavitt mrs leila hardy and son elwood PIONEER CALLED HOME esther minerva murray died at the home of her son chas H barnum at enterprise utah june 8 1920 of the infirmities of age deceased was born at Epsy lanta michigan march 16 1835 she went to nauvoo with her parents and was well acquainted with the prophet joseph smith there she crossed the plains to utah in the early days and shared the trials and privations of the pioneers she was a very patient woman and was always ready to help those in need she was married to john barnum and of this union four bons eons and one daughter were born her husband died and after remaining a widow four years she was married to john in 1872 and moved from summit co to hebron washington co sister bad always been a faithful worker in the church was president of the society or a number of years and died full of faith in the gospel her posterity consists of five children 26 grand children 90 great grandchildren and five great areat grandchildren she has three sons living aschel james and charles henry barnum of enter prise utah and john aleua barnum of mesquite nevada funeral services were held in the enterprise ward hall wednesday june 9 1920 interment was made in the local cemetery |
