| Show dixie forest promotions tha following promotions in the personnel of the dixie national forest have been approved by the secretary of agriculture effective january 1 1910 james E jewell forest supervisor from 1400 to 1600 john 0 benson from deputy forest ranger at 1100 to forest ranger at 1200 joseph M moody from deputy forest ranger at 1100 to forest ranger at 1200 angus M from assistant forest ranger at to assistant forest ranger at 1100 i samuel A macfarlane from assist ant forest ranger at 1000 to assistant forest ranger at 1100 charles T gray forest ranger on the boissac at 1200 has been cd to the dixie as forest ranger at 1300 mr gray lias been in tho service sinco 1906 and is a roan of vide experience peri ence and will doubtless make a valuable addition to the personnel pors onnel of the dixie national forest forest rangers john C benson and joseph M moody who have been in atten danco at tho forestry course at the A C U have completed their courses and aro now on duty in their respective the cold of the past few months put the diamond valley station pipe line out of commission but a force of rangers are now at work repairing it and within a few days we expect to havo it back to i its normal condition construction work on the cottonwood ditch drift fence is now in progress W E alger who is cooperating ith the service in the construction of approximately two miles of this fence is now at work on the project and believes that he will have it completed before may 1 |
