The occasion celebrated Mrs. Stur-gill's Stur-gill's birthday anniversary. Lee Slturgill who has spent the past two weeks with his grandparents, grandpar-ents, returned home with them. W. D. A. met Monday night at the home of Mrs. WJJ.S. Brown of Copperton. The occasion was a farewell party for Mrs. T. R. ' McNeilis who is leaving soon to make her home in . California. She was presented a lovely gift from the club. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Carrie Doyle, Mrs. Norman T. Jacobsen, Mrs. Howard Harker and Mrs. Peter Smith. Lovely refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Norman T. Ja-cobsen Ja-cobsen and family entertained nt dinner Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. T. R. McNeilis and children, chil-dren, Sharon and Thomas Michael. Mich-ael. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Arritola and family and Mr. and Mrs. John McCanish left Monday evening to return to their homes in Whit-tier, Whit-tier, Calif., following a week's i visit here with relatives and friends.
