Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa IIuntsmaH Reporter A wedding dance was given here last Friday in honor of Pfc. and Mrs. Raymond Bauer who were married the previous Wednesday Wed-nesday in Central. s A large crowd attended the dance which was held in the gymnasium. Many beautiful presents were received by the young couple. Mrs. Dick Wadsworth and children of Panaca are-here visiting visit-ing with her mother, Mrs. Lillie Farnsworth. Mrs. Clifford Wadsworth is here from Milford visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Terry. A farewell party was given Monday night for William Bar-locker Bar-locker who is leaving for the armed services on Oct. 8th. A good program, dancing and visiting visit-ing were enjoyed by a large crowd. Refreshments were served. serv-ed. Potato digging has started at the Zuckerman farm with a crew of Mexicans to help. The local farmers will start next Monday. At our Fast Day services Sunday Sun-day Mr. and Mrs. June Simpkins had their baby girl named Ruth and Mrs. Alpine Bowler named her baby Charlotte Ann. The Genealogical Committee under the" leadership of John Z. Alger furnished an interesting program Sunday night. A short play entitled "Could This Happen to You," was given with Mrs. Naomi Hunt, La Von Jones, Roland Rol-and Bowler and Ivan Hunt taking tak-ing part. A trio by Laree Laub, Ruby Laub and Verda Terry, and a talk on Genealogy by Amos Frank Terry completed the program. |
