Show LEEDS Mrs. Evelyn McMullin Reporter The following people attended conference in Salt Lake over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Allen, Reita McMullin, Etta Mari-ger, Mari-ger, Ethel Stirling, R. C. Savage, and Mr. and Mrs. Issac Soren-son. Soren-son. Glen Beal . visited Sunday in Orderville bringing his w-ife and family back with him. They have been spending the week with relatives there. Mrs. Willliam Whitehead of Salt Lake City' visited Sunday and Monday with Mr. and -Mrs. R. C. Savage. Pfc. Vernon Jolley is home on short leave waiting discharge from the Army. Mr. and Mrs. D. Fluckiger and family are visiting this week in Star Valley," Wyoming with their son who is home on furlough. Mr. and Mrs. Kumen Stratton of Hurricane have been taking care of the Leeds Merc, store in the absence of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Allen. Mr. and Mrs. Edward McMullin left on Wednesday for Salt Lake City, where they will spend two Weeks at the Mission Home before be-fore leaving for a six months mission to the, North Western States. Mr. A. . A. Eastman is recovering recover-ing from apendictomy at the McGregor Mc-Gregor hospital. Minnie Harris is teaching school while Mrs. Fluckeger is away. David Stirling and Vernon Jolley Jol-ley left Monday for Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dillon Peterson of Alberta, Canada are visiting with Mrs. Peterson's sisters, Mrs. Ross Savage and Mrs. A. A. Eastman. East-man. Mrs. Margaret Whitman of Salt Lake City is visiting her sister, Mrs. R. C. Savage. ;. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. V. K. Mariger last week were Mrs. M. E. Christopherson, sister of Mr. Mariger, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Christopherson and two small children and Mr. and Mrs. Brent Palmer. Mr. Christopherson and Mr. Palmer are Mr. Marigner's nephews. All reside in Salt Lake City. Margaret Ann, Annette Carol and Jim Naegle of Toquerville are visiting relatives while their mother Mrs. Robert Naegle attended at-tended conference. |
