Show Additional Hangar At Airport The building of the additional hangar at the airport at an estimated esti-mated cost of $4,000 is quite an understaking for this community. However, a considerable amount of this cost should be labor. This offers a wonderful opportunity for the various clubs and civic organizations organ-izations to get together and provide pro-vide some o f this labor. The Lions club has taken the lead in demonstrating what can be done along this line, and, in my opinion, it is this getting together and working, that has helped to make the Lions club the fine organization organiza-tion that it is. If other groups would apply this same principle, I believe that it would help bind their organization together and build a community spirit that really gets things done. The college col-lege is taking the lead with every student and faculty member being asked to contribute at least one day's labor. If we all got busy and did likewise, we would find that this building would go up easily. It was through this cooperative, co-operative, united effort that the pioneers were able to accomplish so much with so little. Let's show that we have some of what it takes to .get things done by all pitching in and putting this building build-ing up. The benefit from having a group of from 100 to 150 boys in here taking that training is so obvious, that I haven't expounded on it. |
