Show Airlines Awaiting Action of Civil Aeronotics Board A direct airlines which will put St. George within three hours and 10 minutes of Salt Lake City and within 2 hours of 20 minutes of I Phoenix has been proposed by Challenger Airlines, Lie, and awaits final action by the Civil Aeronautics Board. This was the information released re-leased here this week by George-W. George-W. Snyder, Jr., Salt Lake City, director of flight operations of Challenger. The company has had its final hearing before CAB, Mr. Snyder said, on three routes. The route through St. George would 'serve Salt Lake City, Provo, Richfield, Rich-field, Milford, Cedar City and St. George in Utah, Flagstaff, Pres- coett and Phoenix in Arizona. It would integrate with a route from Salt Lake City through Ogden and Brigham to Logan. A third route is sought from Salt Lalfe City to Provo and Price in Utah, Grand Junction and Dur-rango Dur-rango in Colorado and terminating terminat-ing at Albuquerque, New Mexico. |
