Show EKTEFPhISE Mrs. Theresa Huatsmaa Reporter Mrs. Alice K. Lund spent the week end here from St. George where she is working in the Temple. Mrs. Franklin Terry underwent surgery for goiter at the Iron county hospital last Thursday. She is reported to be doing nicely. Mrs. F. D. Terry is in Cedar City caring for her daughter, Mrs. Feron Bunker's baby, while Mrs. Bunker who is from Lovelock, Love-lock, Nev., is in the Iron county hospital following goiter surgery. Amos Hall is in the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City for medical treatment. Clayton Farnsworth is home on furlough from Camp Crowder, Mo. Ellsworth Placedt is home on furlough to visit with Mrs. Placedt and their new baby boy. The Enterprise high school Junior Prom, given April 21st, was a big success. There are only 12 junior high students this year and the hall decorations looked like a big job, and was well accomplished ac-complished through the help of the senior high students. "Blue Hawaii" was the theme presented and the gym was crowded to capacity, making the dance a success suc-cess both financially and socially. The 1944 juniors are LaRee Lamb, Verda Terry, Shirley Hunt, Lenora Huntsman, Anna Adams, Rhoda Huntsman, Phil Barlow, Merrill Staheli, Glade Truman, Trenton Jones, Gordon Thomas and Wesley Holt. , Mr. and Mrs. Grant Twitchell and small daughter, Shirley, are here from California visiting while Mr. Truman has a few days rest from defense plant work. Mrs. Twitchell and Shirley arrived a week ahead of Mr. Twitchell. They are guests while here of Mr. and Mrs. John Day, parents of Mrs. TwitchelJ. James Angell is here on furlough fur-lough from California visiting Mrs. Angell and their baby. Mrs. Ernest Barlocker has gone to 'Milford to visit with her two daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Bowler left Enterprise last Thursday for Milford to get medical help for Mrs. Bowler, who has been ill for several weeks. While absent they will visit their children, Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Swapp of Kanab, and Mr. and Mrs. Preston Pres-ton Robinson of Pocatello, Ida., arrived in Enterprise Tuesday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Amos F. Terry. Mr. Swapp returned home Tuesday evening, hut the others will remain for several days. |
