Show LEEDS Mrs. Evelyn McMuIlin Reporter School re-opened Jan. 3rd after the usual Christmas holidays. All students were in attendance after most of them having had the flu. The following people visited here on New Year's day: Mrs. Jean Johnson of Hurricane visited with her sister, Ethel Stirling; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sullivan with Mrs. Sullivan's mother, Caroline McMuIlin, together with other friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Rozelle and family were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Max McMuIlin on Dec. 30th. Mrs. Elmer Wood visited with her sister, Mrs. L. G. Sullivan last week. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Peterson of Cedar City called on their friend here on Thursday. The ladies of the Red Cross knitting club entertained their husbands at a progressive card party on Dec. 30th, with high score prizes going to Karl Caldwell Cald-well and Hazel McMuIlin. Lunch was served to 26. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Sullivan and Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Allen were guests oved the New Year's week end of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Bryner at Overton. Mr. and Mrs. Edward McMuIlin and daughter, Laurel, spent the New Year holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Deoker and family at Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. David Stirling were visitors in Hurricane last Saturday. The M Men and Gleaner Girls Fireside Chat was held Sunday night at the home of Hal and Melba Sullivan.
