Show GUNLOCK Mrs. Lee V. Leavitt Reporter i Mrs. J. C. Thompson and two children have moved here from Cedar City to make their home for the duration. Mr. Thompson ( left March 12 for military service. Merlyn Holt M 2c, Marine Lynn Bracken and J. C. Thompson Thomp-son were honored at a dance given by the Gunlock ward on March 9. "I Mrs. Mary E. Leavitt (Aunt Ella) has been seriously ill with the flu the past week. She was taken to the hospital Friday and her condition is reported still serious. There is a lot of flu in town. Mrs. Ted Twitchell and Mrs. Raphael Leavitt have returned home after spending the past ten days in Veyo. Ann, Darnell and Gwen Leavitt of Enterprise are visiting relatives rela-tives here. Robert Worthen spent last week here laying brick for Ivan Hunt's new home. On Thursday evening, . Conrad Bowler entertained four couples at a dinner party at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bowler. Mr. and Mrs. Clark McAllister and children of Pioche, Nevada visited relatives here over the week end. Mrs. Lova Houser and Mrs. Metta Chadburn spent Saturday here. Ensign and Mrs. Glen Houser spent Sunday here. Mrs. Laura Clark spent Sunday in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. LaGrand Leavitt of Enterprise are here visiting. Mrs. Wilford Holt has spent the past week in St. George. |
