A. Holt, Enter-i Enter-i prise, Utah; proposes to store C05 ac. ft. of water for irrigation purposes from January 1 to Dec-omber Dec-omber 31 in a reservoir by constructing con-structing a dam 50 ft. in height, the point where the longitudinal axis of the dam crosses the stream bed being S. 270 ft. and W. 1087 ft. from E!4 cor. Sec. 27, T37S, R17W. The reservoir will inundate 16.77 acres of land embraced within SEWSWV4 Sec. 27, T37S, R17VV. The stored water will be released from March 1 to October 1 and allowed to flow down the natural channel of Calf Springs Creek and rediverted at a point N. 15 ft. and E. 420 ft. from Cor. .Sec. 27, T37S, R17W, and thence conveyed by canal and used to irrigate 300 acres of land embraced em-braced within Sees. 1, 13 and 23, T37S, R17W, and Sees. 25 and 36, T36S, R17W. 15G98 Darrell A. Nisson, Washington, Wash-ington, Utah; .008 sec. ft. for irrigation purposes from January 1 to December 31 from an unnamed un-named spring, tributary to Virgin River at a point N. 500 ft. and W. 1303 ft. from SE Cor. Sec. 28, T40S, R17W. The water will be equalized in a small reservoir after it has been used for power purposes through No. 1. Hydro-electric plant. The released water from the reservoir will be returned to the natural source at a point S. 38 00' W 845 ft. from N Cor. The water will be diverted, commingled and conveyed in ditches and pipes 1909 ft. where it will be used to irrigate 70 acres of land embraced within SWM, Sec. .21, T42S, R14W. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applications, applicat-ions, with reasons therefor, must be in affidavit form, with extra copy and filed with the State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City 1, Utah, with a fee of $1 on or before Oct. 7, 1944.
