Show Funeral Services Held Wednesday For Mrs. Eunice Sanders Hardy Funeral services were held at 2 p. m., Wednesday for Airs. Eunice Sanders Hardy, who died at 10:30 Monday, January 13, from a hemorrhage hem-orrhage of the lungs. This is the third time that she has suffered from the same thing and she died soon after the hemorrhage began. Bishop Vernon Church was in charge of the services. Musical numbers included, "Some Time You'll Understand", by a double mixed quartet, composed of Ellen Woodbury, Norma Sanders, Hazel Woodbury, Mildred Sanders, Win-fred Win-fred Gubler, Cecil W. Sanders, Donworth Gubler and Bishop Church; "My Father Knows", male quartet, accompanied by Pauline Wilson; "Jesus, Lover of My Sole", double mixed quartet; "That Wonderful Mother of Mine", Paul Wilson, accompanied by Thora Gubler; "Oh, My Father", Fa-ther", by male quartet. Speakers James Jepson, R. T. Woodbury and John Humphries all of Hurricane and William Palmer of Cedar City and' Bishop Morris Wilson. Prayers were by Joseph Gubler and W i 1 f o r d Thompson. The grave in the local cemetery was dedicated by Henry Gubler. There' were 275 present at the servics. She was the daughter daugh-ter of Joseph Moroni Sanders and Charlotte Zabriskie. She was born at Virgin, May IS, 1S83, and was married to Mr. Hardy on May 7, 1907 in the St. George Temple. She has three living children, Ashby of Salt Lake City, Chester and Geneva W. Segler of LaVerkin. There are also four step children, who she reared, George, Mishie, Jennings and Isaac of LaVerkin, and Alvin of Springdale. She has four grandchildren grand-children and 17 step grandchildren. grandchild-ren. Surviving her also are one brother, John Sanders of Hurricane Hurri-cane and five sisters, Zira S. Hinton of Hurricane, Julia Has-lam Has-lam of Cedar City, Maggie Has-lam Has-lam of Eureka, Nevada, Nettie Spendlove of Hurricane and Chloe Worthen of Las Vegas. This the second death in the Sanders family in two weeks, her brother, William Sanders preceding preced-ing her in death two weeks ago, on January 1. |
