Show Elementary School Plans 'Red and White Day' For Friday, Mar. 31 The Elementary school Red and White Day will be held March 31. A parade of the school children, lead by the school band, will be the first feature of the day. The line of march will be from the school building East two blocks along Tabernacle street, North one block, West two blocks and South one block to the school building. A program in the gym will follow the parade: The band in new uniforms parades and plays "The Race", then the chorus sings the Pep Song, to be followed by a pianologue. The band's next number is "Daisy (Continued on page four) Red and White Day (Continued from first page) Waltz"; 'Gypsy Song" by Faculty Quartet; Red and White Medlley Song and Tap Dance; Band, "Sunbeams" "Sun-beams" (Secitonal); Elementary Acroustic; "Soldier's Chorus" and "Come Where the Lillies Bloom"; Band, "Forward March" and "Liberty March"; Class Songs and Red and White. At noon all children will participate in a lunch at school. The afternoon will be spent in supervised play. The children will be divided into three groups for play. The First and Second grades will be in one group, the Third and Fourth grades in another and the Fifth and Sixth grades in another. |
