Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS THE STATE OF UTAH Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City, October 25, 1940. Edwin Daiton, St. George, Utah, has filed Application No. a-1559 to change the point of diversion of 200 ac. ft. of water from Leeds creek in Washington county; said water was to have been diverted under Application No. 9903 during dur-ing the entire year at a point S. 900 ft. and W. 225 ft. from the S'A Cor. Sec. 12, T 41 S., R 14 W., SLB&M, conveyed by canal to a reservoir, there stored and released as needed and used to irrigate 70 acres of land located in the SN' NS, Sec. 23 T. 41 S., R. 14 W., SLB&M. It is now proposed to divert ,the water at a point S. 10 30' E. 1500 ft. from the W'i Cor. Sec. 13, T. 41 S., R. 14 W., SLB&M and store and use it in the same manner as heretofore intended. Edwin Dallon has also filed an Application for an extension of time from October 20, 1940 to October 20, 1943 in which to complete construction and make beneficial use of the water covered cov-ered by Application No. 9903. It is represented that $1300 has been expended and that an expenditure of $560 will be required to complete com-plete the work. Protests resisting the granting of either the Application for change of point of diversion or the Application for an extension of time, with reasons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee on or before December 28, 1940. T. H. HUMPERYS, State Engineer. |
