Show Husbands Entertained By Alice Louise Reynolds Club The sixty member of the Alice Louise Reynolds Club met at the Arrowhead Hotel Wednesday evening even-ing for their annual Open session at which husbands and partners are entertained. The evening's program included a paper by Mrs. Helen Reichmann, "Utah's Tester- ' days," toasts across the table by ' Mrs. Anna B. Taylor "To our I Husbands," and Earl Cannon "To Our Wives," with Mrs. Lillian 1 McQuaid as toastmaster. A mixed j chorus sang "Then You'll Remem- ; ber me," and Attorney- Orval ' Hafen played a violin solo, "After i the Ball," and the evening conclud- ; ed with communal singing of I "Utah We Love Thee." Mrs. Reich-! mann's paper was a deft and inter- J esting resume of compilation of interesting data covering Utah's early parties, dances, dramatics, food, cookery, clothing, work of men and women, etc., with a few relics to exhibit as evidence of "Utah's Yesterdays." |
