Show EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE BEING WELL RECEIVED AT ZLON PARK C. C. C. CAMPS Educational Adviier Von H. Robertson, announces that arrangements ar-rangements are being completed with Zion Park stake for a series of Sunday evening religious programs pro-grams to be given at the Zion CCC camps. Dixie Junior college is now giving programs of this nature. na-ture. The two camps are combining combin-ing their facilities to furnish a service ser-vice each Sunday, with Zion Park stake and Dixie College cooperative, coopera-tive, stated Mr. Robertson. A part of the educational program pro-gram at Zion CCC camps that is attracting interest is the Saturday hikes in the canyon and on the rims. Hikes have been made to Hidden Canyon, Angels Landing, East Rim and up the Parunaweep Trail now being constructed. Ranger Naturalist C. C. Presnell, Wildlife Specialist W. S. Long, E. C. Alford and Adviser Robertson have conducted the hikes. Others planned include:' Lady Mountain, West Rim, The Cliff Dwellings and the Petrified forest. |
