Show WASHINGTON Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moranda of Belview, Idaho are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jeter T. Neilson for a few days. Miss Dorthy Iverson, who has been employed at Los Angeles, California, has returned home. Mrs. Matilda Andrews of St. George is visiting for a short time with friends and relatives in town. Mrs. Max Huff of Castlegate, Utah is spending a week visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ha'fen of this place. A married folks dance and picnic pic-nic was held at the gym last Friday Fri-day evening. A very enjoyable time was reported by all who attended. at-tended. Misses Grace Milne and Maudie Prisbrey have gone to North Hollywood, Holly-wood, California where they have employment. The Washington County truckers truck-ers association is sponsoring a dance here at the gym, Thursday evening, February 6. The principal of our school, A. K. Larson who, has been seriously ill for two weeks, is improving and will be able to take up his school work again soon. Mr. Graff of Santa Clara has been teaching during Mr. Larson's illness. Agusta Gould, Ivan Sandberg, Keith Iverson and Howard Schmutz accompanied Mr. Beck and the students of the Dixie college col-lege on their trip to Salt Lake City and Provo' Most of our' townspeople who are employed at Pioche, Nevada are home for a few days. Mrs. Golden Paxman and two small sons, Arthur and Bobby, have recovered from an attack of scarlet fever from which they suffered suf-fered the past three weeks. There have been no new cases so far. |
