Show LA VERKLN MRS. MAX WOODBURY Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Gub-ler Gub-ler announce the marriage of their daughter, Nelma to Mansel Scow of Hurricane on October 15 in the St. George Temple. A reception was given in their honor Thursday Thurs-day night Dancing and a program pro-gram consisting of a reading by Camilla Judd, a duet by Gladyce Woodbury and Donworth Gubler and remarks by the groom were enjoyed. A Spanish dancer (Hazel Woodbury) Wood-bury) gave twp dayioes. Gireta Garbo (Alice Gubler) gave a reading read-ing "The Dentist's Chair". Mrs. Helen Glendon, a reading. Glen Woodbury was the announcer for the troupe. Games and dancing took up the remainder of the evening even-ing after which refreshments were served. Clark Gubler talked in Relief society last Wednesday. He spoke of the hardships of the people in the Swiss-German mission. He said we here in America should appreciate appreci-ate what we have even though it isn't much because conditions were so much worse where he had been. Mrs. Arita Church sang a vocal solo, "Little Black Me". |
