Show MESQUITE, NEV. MRS. W. W. HUGHES Reporter William Abbott is at Las Vegas in Marion Earl's office while Mr. Earl is out campaigning. There are quite a number out deer hunting. Louis Pulsipher and wife and daughter all got their deer by nine o'clock of the opening open-ing day. October 15. A Democratic rally and dance was held here on Monday evening. There were thirteen candidates here. Etl Clark of Los Angeles was among them. A 4-11 club Clark county Fair will be held here Saturday. October Octo-ber 2 4 at the school building. A missionary farewell dance will be held Wednesday night, October 21 in honor of Wendal Leavitt. son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leavitt. Leav-itt. He. will leave for his mission on October 23. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hafen. Leo and Alf Hardy and Joseph Leavitt Leav-itt went to Caliente on Saturday, Satur-day, October 17 to rind out what had been accomplished on the flood control project in that district dis-trict and line out the project in our own district for the coming ye-ar. It will be under the supervision super-vision of J. H. Witt wer, . county agent and W. W. Hughes, chairman chair-man of this farm bureau. Two carloads of Sunday school officers and teachers attended the stake Union meeting at Las Vegas. |
