Show Queen Contest For Dixie Round-Up Reported Creating Considerable Interest Considerable interest is reported by the Queen Committee for the Dixie Round-up, headed by Rulon Snow, in the contest that is getting underway for the election of a queen for the three-d;iy celebration cele-bration to be held on September 5. R and 7. Fourteen contestants have been filed with the committee and the backers of the various young ladies report that there will be plenty of action before the final winner is announced. Those who are entered in the contest are as follows: Mrs. Shirley Hail, Miss Jane Foremast or. Miss Noma Andrus, Mrs. Minnie McGregor, Miss Barbara Stuzzenegger, Miss Laura Lytic, Mrs. Ellen Owen. Mrs. Nita McQuaide, Mrs. LaBcrta Sorenson, Mrs. Adrlie Hammer, Miss Elaine Hafen, Mrs. Helen Whitehead, Miss Lou Slade, Bernicce Holt, j Mrs. Louie Wadsworth. i Votes will be sold for one cent each and can be purchased at the following places: Liberty Drug Store. J. C. Penney Co., Whitewny Malt Shop, Wadsworth Confectionery. Confec-tionery. Dick's Cafe, Big Hand Cafe, Dixie Drug Store and Vogue Beauty Parlor. Voting will end August 21 and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be queen of j the Dixie Roiind-up.
