Show Enterprise Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Grant Terry has returned home from Toquerville, where he has taught school the past winter. Wednesday night the seniors and juniors of the Enterprise high school, together with the faculty members went to Veyo for a swim and good time. While there a heavy rain storm came on and they were forced to spend the night in Veyo. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. James Cottam, comfortable beds were provided for 30 of the crowd and the CCC camp took care of the others. A farewell party was given Friday Fri-day night in the gymnasium for Merlin Huntsman, who left Sunday Sun-day night for the mission home in Salt Lake City. The following program was rendered: Song by congregation, "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go"; prayer, Joseph A. Terry; song, Howard Holt; reading, Wanda Abbott; saxa-phone saxa-phone solo, Halbert Lund; presentation pre-sentation of books, June Simpkins; response, Merlin Huntsman. After the program dancing completed the evening. A large crowd attended. attend-ed. Amos Hall has returned from Salt Lake City where he has been for several weeks attending school. Mr. and Mrs. Marian Terry and family have moved to. Terry's ranch for the summer. The big day at the new airport proved to be a disappointment to most of those attending. The day-set day-set by the Civics club was May 19 but on account of storms it was postponed until May 21. A large crowd went to the landing field but the day was disagreeable and stormy. A large crowd of people from here, including the bishopric, at tended conference in SI. George Sunday. J. George Hunt, who has been visiting here for a short time, has returned to his home in Pleasant Grove. |
