Show UTAH STATE SOIL CONSERVATION COMMITTEE Legal Notice of Referendum Notice is hereby given by the Utah State Soil Conservation Committee that the proposed Lower Virgin & Santa Clara Soil Conservation District has duly petitioned, in the interests of the public health, safety, and welfare, for the organization of said district dis-trict and that said Committee has determined that the district is desirable and necessary and has fixed the boundaries thereof as follows : Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Twp. 41 S., Rg. 14 1 W., S.L.M., thence South ap- ' proximately 18 miles to the ' Utah-Arizona State Line; thence West along said State Line approximately ap-proximately 38 miles to the Utah-Nevada State Line; thence North along said State Line approximately ap-proximately 36 miles to the boundary of the Dixie National Forest; thence Easterly following follow-ing said Forest boundary to the point of beginning, excluding and excepting therefrom the corporate cor-porate limits of St. George City, - and containing in all approximately approxi-mately 602,000 acres'. Please take further notice that a referendum of all land owners or occupiers of land within said district will be held at the County Agent's Office in St. George, and at the Meeting House in Washington, Washing-ton, Santa Clara, Gunlock, Veyo, and Central. The polls shall be opened at 7 o'clock a.m. and continue open until 7 o'clock p.m. All eligible land owners or land occupiers within the limits of this area shall have the right to vote upon the question submitted.
