Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS STATE OF UTAH OFFICE OF STATE ROAD COMMISSION" SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH January, 23rd. 193 7. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of I'tah. Slate Capitol. Salt Lake City. Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m., Monday. February S. 1937. and at that, time publicly opened for construction of a 6 5 ft. span Concrete Ribbed Rigid Frame bridge over Gould Y.ish in Washington Wash-ington County the same being Federal Aid Project No. 11 3-D between Virgin River and Hurricane. Hurri-cane. The length of road to be constructed con-structed or improved is 72 ft. and the principal items of woi 1 are approximately as follows: Structural Excavation, 500 cu. yds.; Concrete, Class "A", 3 3 6 cu. yds.; and Reinforcing Steel 70750 lbs. The attention of bidders is directed di-rected to the Special Provisions covering subletting or assigning the contract. The minimum wage paid to a 1 1 skilled labor employed on this contract shall be SO cents per hour. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be 60 cents per hour. The minimum wage paid to all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be 50 cents per hour. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar City, Utah where they may be reveiwed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depostiing $2.00, which will be returned, providing contractor submits an acceptable bid and returns re-turns the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional ad-ditional information may be secured se-cured at the office of the State Road Commission. Each bidder must submit a letter from on approved surety company guaranteeing guar-anteeing to furnish said bidder with requised bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. re-served. Cash, certified check, or cashier's cash-ier's check for five per cent cf total amount of bid made payable pay-able to the State Road Commission Commis-sion must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required. re-quired.
