Show NEW AAA PROGRAM ! FOR UTAH READY, EXPERT REPORTS Details of the 1937 agricultural conservation program for Utah will be explained to farmers of Washington county within the next few days. This word was given by Dr. H. E. Schwartz, field representative of the AAA, at the annual Extension Service conference held last week at the Utali State Agricultural college. "Everything is set to go in Utah", Dr. Schartz said. "Educational "Edu-cational material will be distributed distrib-uted to the farmers so they can determine how this federal plan will affect them and their farming farm-ing enterprise. "In many ways the 1937 program pro-gram is better than that of 193 6. More money is set up for soil-building soil-building practices on the farm and for range improvements", he pointed out. County Agent Anson B. Call, Jr., and members of the AAA committee wil soon have the official of-ficial literature and meetings wall be called where discussions will be held concerning the new setup. set-up. Every farm in the state will have a work sheet and a map for it. These records are necessary neces-sary for farms both in and out of the AAA program, Dr. Schwartz explained. |
