Show Miss Inez Larson and Harold Cox United In Temple Marriage Here Wednesday President Harold S. Snow read the ceremony in the St. George Temple Wednesday evening uniting unit-ing in marriage, Miss Inez Larson, daughter of Mrs. Neils Sandberg of Washington, and Harold Cox, son of Frank L. Cox of St. George. A large number of close relatives and friends were present pres-ent for the ceremony. Both bride and groom are past graduates of the Dixie junior college. col-lege. For the past five years Miss Larson has been employed as secretary sec-retary to the county agricultural agent. Since his graduation, Mr. Cox has filled a mission for the L. D. S. church in the north central cen-tral states. The bride has been feted at dinners and showers during the past week. On Friday evening the bride's mother entertained a large number of relatives at the family home in Washington, honoring hon-oring her daughter. On Saturday Satur-day evening, six intimate girl friends, Phyllis Nisson, Iva Harmon, Har-mon, Thora Tobler, Alma Tanner, Tan-ner, Winnie Seegmiller and Doris Tobler, united in honoring Miss Larson with a bridal shower at the Nisson home. A large group of . friends from Washington and St. George attended. On Sunday from 3 to 7 p. m., Miss Larson entertained at a trousseau tea at her home in Washington, wearing a floor length gown of blue organdy over satin for the event. Guests were welcomed by her mother who wore a street length dress of blue wool and silk crepe. Assisting also were the six above named girl friends all of whom were formally form-ally gowned for the occasion. She was also assisted by her sister, Miss Marie Larson, who with Doris Tobler presided in the gift display rooms, while the bride directed in the wardrobe room. Nearly 100 friends called during the evening. Following the marriage Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, the couple left for a brief honeymoon trip after which they will return to make their home in St. George. |
