Show Arizona Strip, i the Correspondents I Santa Clara Reporter Miss Laura Gubler D. U. P. meeting was held Thursday Thurs-day evening at the home of Mrs. Vivian J. Frei. The lesson, "Pioneer "Pio-neer Homes and Houses", was given by Mrs. J. Claud Frei. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Knight and son, Allen from Bunkerville, were visitors here with relatives and friends on Thursday. Mrs. George Tobler left for Salt Lake City to visit for several sev-eral weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Colman and infant daughter. Tom Watson arrived here Friday Fri-day from Beaver to spend several sev-eral days with his brother, Don. Week-end visitors to Salt Lake City were E. R. Frei Jr., and Mrs. Landon Frei. Emil Gubler spent several days at Los Angeles last week. Clarence Moss left for Virginia Wednesday to attend an officers' training school. Mrs. and Mrs. Loren Reber accompanied him as far as Salt Lake City. Abraham Neef, his son and wife with their two children from Rex-burg, Rex-burg, Idaho, formerly of Switzerland, Switzer-land, visited here Tuesday and Wednesday with Theodore Graff. Mr. Graff became acquainted with Mr. Neef 46 years ago while he was on a mission in Switzerland. Mrs. Jennie Barnum left this week to make her home in St. George. |
