Show Yeyo Mrs. James F. Cottam Reporter There is considerable sickness in town, several of our towns people peo-ple being confined to their homes with the flu. Bishop and Mrs. George Chad-burn, Chad-burn, Glen Leavitt and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Jones attended union meeting in St. George Sunday. On Sunday, Jan. 16 our Primary Pri-mary organization was re-organized with the following: Bell Jones, president; Adell Bunker and Esther Chadburn, counselors: Lela Seitz, secretary- Alta S. Chadburn was released as president, a position posi-tion she has held faithfully and successfully for a number of years. Rodney Chadburn is home from the Dixie college on account of illness. We had a nice rain storm January Jan-uary 15, of which we were sorely in need. Dr. and Mrs. Delos Hiatt. of Parowan spent Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. Jan. 8 and 9. in town. Mrs. Hiatt was visiting relatives and the Doctor was doing professional work. Miss Helen Bowler, who is attending at-tending the Dixie college, spent last week at home on account of her mother's illness. Mrs. Leah Jolley is slowly recovering re-covering from her bad attack of rheumatism. Mr. and Mrs. Lem S. Leavitt, of St. George, spent a few days in Veyo last week. |
