Show Friday, May 21st Day Set For Dixie Alumni Banquet Committee Will Not Mail Out Any Invitations; Reservations Reserva-tions Should Be Made Friday, May 21 is the date set for the Annual Dixie Alumni banquet. ban-quet. Announcement of the date was made by Andrew Pace, chairman chair-man of the committee. This is the annual banquet of the alumni of Dixie high school. Those who are invited attend included in-cluded high school graduates, students stu-dents who have attended Dixie College, business men who have assisted with the college and others who have assisted with the college and all others who helped establish and maintain the school. According to Mr. Pace the group will assemble at the recreation hall first where they will be entertained en-tertained with music furnished by Professor Earl J. Bleak's orchestra. orches-tra. Eight o'clock has been the time set for meeting at the hall. No Invitations There will be no special invitations invi-tations issued this year since past experiences has shown that the few replies received from the invitations in-vitations did not justify the work and expense involved. Those who plan to attend the banquet ban-quet are urged to make their reservations res-ervations early. The group plans to have as many as possible and feel that they will be prepared to accomodate as many as desire to be present. They do, however, urge that reservations be made ahead of time with the committee in charge.
