"Soir.e-! "Soir.e-! t:rr. V.'e'U Und-rstar.d". I Thursday, Mary Alice Sr.'jw, an ' ordinance worker in the Temple I for 11 years, was honored on her s-v(-nty-fourth birthday anniver-: anniver-: sary. She bore her testimony and Nina B. Fawcett and Martin A. j Hunker paid tribute to her. Her daughter, Mira S. Lang, gave a brief history of her Life. A Ladies' trio, sang, "Silver Threads Among the Gold". Friday an excursion came from Henrieville and Tropic, in the Panguitch stake. Speakers in the morning meeting were: Bp. James Ott of Henrieville: Emily Pollock, Leona Joliey and Stella LeFevre of Tropic. A mixed quartet composed com-posed of four members of the Quilter family of Henrieville sang two numbers. Saturday, June 10, there was a priesthood excursion of the St. George stake. The people responded respond-ed very well. We were especially grateful and appreciative of the attendance of members of the stake presidency and bishoprics of our stake. Tuesday, the following bore their testimonies in the morning meeting: Mr. and Mrs. Leslie J. Chambers of Bloomington, 111.; James Fisher, of Cedar City, and Ella H. Perkins, of Overton, Nev. Saturdays, June 17, 24, and July 1, sessions will commence at 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to accommodate ac-commodate stakes coming in from the outside. |
