Show St. George CCC Camp Eight members of the company entrained at Cedar City last Tuesday Tues-day for Fort Knox, Ky. Upon arrival they will be reassigned to companies in the 5th Corps Area or discharged to return to their homes. On Wednesday, June 21, 24 members will leave St George for Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind. for discharge or reassignment to home corps companies. Foreman McLeary Shimek has been transferred to the Para-shaunt Para-shaunt Spike camp and is directing direct-ing a crew on the fence line project. The first two league Softball games left the camp with a 500 per cent standing. The first game gave the camp a 13 to 1 victory over the Firemen and the second was a bitter struggle with the Leeds camp on the long end of the 3-2 score. Mr. Williams, educational adviser, ad-viser, left for Cedar City on Thursday to attend a five-day educational conference. The meeting meet-ing will be attended by educational education-al advisers, officers and superintendents superin-tendents of all camps in the southern end of the Fort Douglas district Officials from Fort Douglas and Washington, D. C. will be in charge of the meetings. Raymond Adams was discharged discharg-ed on Monday to return to accept employment at his home in Kentucky. |
