Show Dixie College A. K. Hafen has been selected to represent Utah at a modern language meeting of the inter-mountain inter-mountain states. ' The meeting will be held on the Coast the day after Thanksgiving. The modern language club will accompany Mr. Hafen on the trip. A large group from the physical science department depart-ment is planning a trip at the same time. Several adult classes are now started. They include nutrition, home relationships, cabinet work and handicraft. There is also interest in-terest shown in getting into shorthand short-hand and salesmanship work. Townspeople interested should check with President Snow at his office. The Dixie male quartet, under the direction of Mae Pace, was featured at last Friday's assembly. as-sembly. They presented a highly inspirational dramatic number of a patriotic nature. Mr. Bleak gave two trumpet solos, and there followed fol-lowed a well-balanced request program. The total registration at the college has now reached 444, with prospects of still more this quarter. quar-ter. Mr. Bleak's string ensemble gave two splendid numbers at the Wednesday assembly. |
