Show BUNKERVILLE, NEV. Miss Ardyce Bunker and Fielding Field-ing Hardy were married April 1 in the St. George Temple. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hector Bunker and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hardy. April 1 was "V Day" at the high school. The boys whitewashed white-washed the "V" and the girls ' cleaned the building. A free ' dance was given in the evening. The retiring bishopric were ', honored at a social last Saturday evening. The evening was spent ! playing games and dancing. Light refreshments were served. The affair was sponsored by the M. I. A. and the new bishopric. Bishop Fish and councellors Nathan Na-than Abbott and Thomas .Leavitt were each presented with a pic- '. ture of local scenery, painted by Ralph Huntsman. Many people from here attend- ! ed the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Barnett at Mes- j . quite last Friday. Dudley Hardy and Nathan Ab- bott are on the sick list. Mrs. Joe Banner underwent a I serious operation in the Las Vegas hospital on Monday. She is reported as getting along nice- iy. Supt. Thurston was a town i visitor on Tuesday. The three-year-old son of Mr. Mrs. Fenton Frehner had the mis- fortune of breaking his leg last Sunday. He was taken to St. ', George to have it set.
