Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter Announce Engagement Of Their Daughter, Marie Mr. and Mrs. Ralph T. Carter of this city announce the engagement of their daughter, Marie, to Lothair Mangum, son of Ida Mangum of Circleville, Utah. The marriage is set for July 6, in the St. George Temple. The engagement was made known to friends of Miss Carter at a charmingly arranged early evening affair at the Carter home Thursday, June 13. Miss Irene Carter was co-hostess for the affair. Places were set for 16 guests at small tables, centered with bowls of pink larkspur and white fever-few, on covers of Mexican drawn work. Streamers of ink and white ribbon extended from the center piece to each plate, at which were attached tiny scrolls on which appeared the engagement engage-ment and wedding dates. Assisting in serving were Miss Barbara Carter, sister of the bride-elect, and her friend, Vauna Mae Leany.
