Show Mrs. Viva Covington To Join Acrobatic Act Mrs. Viva Covington, daughter of Mrs. A. "W. Augason of this city, is leaving on this (Thursday) midnight bus for Los Angeles where she will train for an acrobatic acro-batic performance tour as a member mem-ber of the "Three Milos" headed by her brother, Milo Linwood (Jones). Mrs. Covington and her six children have made their home in St. George for more than a year and she has made many friends in connection with her activities in the various organizations or-ganizations of the L.D.S. church. Many in St. George will remember re-member acrobatic work of Milo Linwood in past years. Since residing re-siding in Los Angeles he has perfected an act which he takes to many of the state fairs. In this he is assisted by Mrs. Linwood and another partner. Due to the approaching marriage of this member of the act, he has persuaded per-suaded his sister, Mrs. Covington to take over. While in St. George she has given evidence of her many talents in music, singing, dance directing, play leadership and dramatics. After spending the next few weeks in close training, Mrs. Covington will return to St. George for a brief visit before joining the act for a tour of the state fairs. On Tuesday afternoon she was honored by the south ward relief society with a social following regular meeting, having been ward chorister. |
