Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR W. B. BAKER Funeral services for William B. Baker were held in the stake tabernacle taber-nacle last Thursday afternoon, Bishop Karl N. Snow of the East ward presiding. pre-siding. There was a large attendance and a profusion of floral offerings. The South ward chorus sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd." A prayer was offered by Joseph T. Atkin, Sr. Bishop F. G. Miles told of his acquaintance ac-quaintance with Wm. Baker when they were boys and also when they were in the bishopric. Elder David H. Morris told of the deceased's grandfather and father and of the work of Wm. Baker's part in the settlement of Dixie. He was a prominent man and one of the best farmers in Dixie. When the academy was built Wm. Baker volunteered volun-teered his services and did a large amount of work on the structure. President E. H. Snow spoke of the life of Wm. Baker, his honesty and dependability. Numbers were given by the Dixie College mixed chorus. Benediction was pronounced by John T. Woodbury, Jr. |
