Show - SPRINGDALE SFRINGDALE, Oct. 2. Mr. and Mrs. William R- Langston left Sunday evening for St. George where Mrs. Langston was operated on for goitre Monday mprning. jjr. and Mrs. I. H. Langston made business trip to St. George Monday. ' Mr and Mrs. D. W. Lemmon of St. Oorge were visitors here Sunday, .jhey were accompanied by their son, Natbanial and small children, also Otbel Gifford and Linford Christensen of this place who are attending school at St. George. Verl Russell, John Doan and Elea-ner Elea-ner Hussman were week end visitors from Hurricane where they are attending at-tending school. Jessie Gifford and Ronald Christensen Christen-sen made a business trip to Hurricane yesterday. Wm. H. Gifford was a visitor at Cedar City yesterday. Miss 'Nancy Christensen entertained her Sunday school class last evening at her home. Among those present were Larkin Gifford, Carl Crawford, Alpheus Gifford, Mr. Spencer, Herbert Christensen, and the Misses Agnes Pendleton and Leila Cottam, our school teachers, Miss Merle Crawford and Mrs. Lora Christensen. An enjoyable en-joyable time was had by all. A large number of our people attended at-tended an elders' meeting in Virgin Sunday evening. Irvin Bryrter of Leeds was a business busi-ness visitor here Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hardy and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar' Johnson were visitors visit-ors in Hurricane today. Mrs. Kate Eagar and Miss Edith Humphries of Hurricane were visitors here Sunday. Mrs. Nora Gifford of Rockville was a visitor here Sunday. |
