Show LEEDS LEEDS, Sept. 19. Miss Berneiee Ber-neiee Nicholls has gone to Las Vegas where she will attend high school this winter. Word has been received that Juanlita Nicholls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nicholls, was in a car accident last week while en route to Los Angeles. The machine overturned about ten miles this side of Barstow, Calif., and Miss Nicholls received several bad cuts and: bruises. School opened this morning with Wayne Hinton as principal, princi-pal, and Miss Louisa Hopkins in charge of the lower grades. . Miss Faye Stirling and Miss Addie Savage left Sunday for their schools. The former will teach in La Verkin and the latter lat-ter at Hurricane. Relief Societies and Mutuals were well represented at the conventions held in connection; with stake conference. C. F. Hansen moved his family fam-ily to Short Creek, Ariz., on Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. Hansen is principal of the school there. I Mrs.. Maggie- Hartley visited in Washington, on Wednesday. Lee- Williamson and family were- Cedar City visitors Friday. |
