Show ENTERPRISE ENTERPRISE, July 27. A two days' celebration was held here on July 24 and 25, and events featured included a patriotic pa-triotic meeting, children's dance, races, baseball games, horse races, novelty races, steer and broncho riding, and dances at night. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Fish and family of Long Beach, spent the Twenty-fourth here. Mrs. Julia Fish accompanied them on their return. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Holt, Mrs. Fred Bagshaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Simkins and families and Mrs. Sarah Morris spent the 24th at Duck creek. Mrs. Gladys Hall entertained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Fish at the home of her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Mary Drake, Sunday evening. Born A daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Nels Thomas July 22. Mr. and Mrs. James Barnum and Mr. and Mrs. Murrav Bar num and family of Las Vegas are here visiting. Mrs. Mamie Larson and daughter, daugh-ter, Linda, and son, Preston, are here visiting. A large number from neighboring neigh-boring towns spent the 24th here. Mrs. Agnes Hunt and small son are visiting here with her mother, Mrs. Arthur P. Jones. Mrs. Belle Johnson and two children of Los Anglees are here visiting the former's father, Jack Pulsipher. |
