Show DIXIE POWER SHOWS GAIN With a fixed capital investment invest-ment of $1,431,000 as shown by the report to the public utilities util-ities commission of Utah, the Dixie Power company, serving nearly 2600 customers in Iron and Washington counties, had operating revenues in 1931 of $1S1,000, paid $16,500 in taxes and had an operating income of $77,000, nearly 3S000 more than in the previous year. The company paid interest and preferred pre-ferred dividends but had no sinking fund appropriations nor surplus fund. |
