Show SPRINGDALE SPRINGDALE, Sept. 23. Nerissa Ruesch was our weekly patient to undergo an operation for appendicitis. appendi-citis. She is improving nicely and will return home soon. Rupert Ruesch left Sunday for the Swiss and German mission. His mother accompanied him to Salt Lake City. His many friends wish him every success in his work, and a safe return when it is finished. Mr. and Mrs. Squire Crawford went to Salt Lake City to take Lin-ford Lin-ford Christensen, who will attend school there the coming winter. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Oliver D. Gifford who will visit relatives rel-atives and friends in the north. Quite a number of our townspeople townspeo-ple attended conference at St. George Saturday and Sunday. The members of the parents' class enjoyed an outing in Zion canyon Thursday evening. Lunch was served to about sixty-five people. The program pro-gram consisted of songs and speeches. speech-es. Our Relief Society has been reorganized. re-organized. Sarah Crawford, president, presi-dent, and Mrs. Margie Langston and Nora Jolley, counselors, were releas ed and Vera Allred, Hildred Olsen and Althera Gifford were "chosen as their successors. Mrs. Crawford has served as president presi-dent for seven years and her work is highly appreciated. Mrs. Leigh Bowers has moved here from Kane county for the winter. win-ter.
