Show LA VERKLN LA VERKTN, Sept. 24. Mary, the 15-months-oid daughter of Mrs. Partha Jackson died last Thursday morning after a two weeks' illness. She seemed to be getting weaker from the first and all medical aid proved of no avail. Funeral services serv-ices were held Thursday afternoon, LaFell Iverson of the bishopric in charge. She is survived by her mother, moth-er, three brothers and one sister. Born A son to Mr. and Mrs. Hardy M Segler, September 18. Mr. and Mrs. Finley Judd left Saturday for Salt Lake City where Mr. Judd will attend the U. of U. Ashworth Thompson left Saturdav for Bozeman, Mont., where he wiU attend school this winter. Winfred Gubler is in Salt Lake City this week. Many from here attended conference confer-ence in St. George Saturday and Sunday. Sacrament meeting in Hurricane Sunday evening was attended by a large number from here. Apostle David Da-vid O. McKay was the speaker. Clark, Wm. Tell and LaVell Gubler, Gu-bler, Clair Judd and Max Woodbury Wood-bury are attending Dixie College at St. George. The following from here are attending at-tending the B. A. C. this term: Owen Sanders, Reed Wilson, Ashby Hardy, Sidney Thompson and Norma Nor-ma Stout. ' Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Barnhurst and famliy left today for Hatch after a month's visit here. Samuel Barnhurst of Hatch has purchased the Arthur Webb land and has built a home on it. He moved his wife and child here last week. Felma Webb and Roma Wallace spent the week end at home. They are working at Zion park. |
