Show ST. GEORGE LIONS CLUB ORGANIZED NOV. 5th TWENTY-THREE JOIN With twenty-three members as the nucolus, the St. George Lions club was formed last Monday night, November 5th. D. Eldon Beck was elected president of the newly formed club; Eric Snow, vice-president; George Snow, second vice-president; Andrew An-drew Pace, third vice-president; Phillip Foremaster, secretary; Rulon Snow, treasurer; Dr. M. O. Hutchings, Lion tamer; Marion Mar-ion Snow, tail twister. The board of directors were as follows: fol-lows: I Harold Miles, Dr. Jack Ahl- strom, Howard Judd, Ray B. Nelson; Committee Chairman, Or-val Or-val Hafon, charter knight; R. M. Reber, membership; Wesley Nelson, Nel-son, finance; Clinton Snow, constitution con-stitution and by-laws. Regular club meetings will be ' held every Thursday night at ' 7:30 at the Liberty Cafe. Plans were tentatively laid for the president pres-ident to attend the Lions International Inter-national convention to be held at Mexico City, next summer! |
